Baby Steps to Salsa

Well, thanks to Cuixi, I have learnt maybe like one basic step and one style move. She really can Salsa groove to the music and my favourite part was watching her twirl from one guy to the next. All on cue and on style. Very nice. Stylo and Sexy. Gosh, it’s damn damn hard to be sexy. I wanna be sexy! Anyhow my heels were killing me again!!!! I went home with bubble-looking blisters in my toe knuckles. ARGH! Really hope she had a wonderful time. But since her love, dream and passion are fulfilled on her birthday, I am pretty sure she had fun. Happy 21st once again.

她：请问 ________?
我：我不清楚, 应该 ______。
*She referred to her scrap paper and starts giving me Singapore Road Names in Chinese*
她: …你也是中国人吗？
我：不是。
她: 哇！你那么白！我以为你是中国人呢！
我：不是！但是我有很多中国朋友！

In case you cannot understand/ see the above, let me translate it for you.

Her: Do you know where ____ is?
Me: I am not sure, but it should be around….. (I asked if she knew any road names/ landmarks that are major and not just small road names, and she gave me some unknown Chinese road name)
*insert more random talk here*
Her: Oh are you from China too?
Me: No.
Her: You are so fair/ white (or what have you), I thought you are from China too.
Me: No, but I have lotsa friends from China.

WHAT DID I DO WRONG? I NEED A TAN. SERIOUS TAN.

So she continued to keep asking me question. And told me how could I not know where this temple is… apparently soo famous. No one’s ever heard of that temple, even my Dad and my friends don’t know of that place’s existence. I bet she got scammed. And how come I know so many Chinese friends, oh wow scholars, so impressive. etc etc etc.

So I continued, and told her I really don’t know, why don’t I get home and find out for her since my house is just nearby? I asked if she had a phone number, I could tell her where then, after I do my online search. Or I kinda told her to go search it up online. She asked me how much internet cafes were and where…. stuff like that. And oh, I live nearby, how could I not know…. so anyway, she kinda made me call up people and ask them where that temple is. And I really couldn’t turn her down could I? She is so strong and forceful. And Im kinda a weakling who just couldn’t say no to being nice and helpful. She was like “快点打电话给你父母！问清楚!” (Translation: Quick, call your parents and verify!)

Needy Lovey Mood

I don’t know why. I am feeling rather needy as of late. Like really needy.

Even though I like to eat alone, walk alone, and sit alone in class, but on days where I feel needy, I kinda want people to even accompany me to the washroom. Does a normal human being have needy moments too?

Anyway, I also think I am very lovey. If that is even a word. Anyhow a shout out to people I feel like loving today (Caution: Mentioned names may not be aware of their existence here):
