[About the birds...]

So there I was, eating lunch at about 4pm by myself. Caught up in my SMSes, my head in an all time low, and completely oblivious to the fact that a Common Myna has landed upon my table. Caught in shock, I jerked from my seat.

Even though I was aware that the Myna has been surveying the vast land of unattended leftover food on tables, little did I expect to come to such close proximity. SO it fluttered around and hopped around and decided to attack the bowl of noodles diagonally across me. Some INCONSIDERATE brat, finished her food and DID NOT CLEAR her damn mess. Let me see her again, I am going to give her a good lashing out.

Myna

Scared of the bird? No, I wasn’t. I was however, more concerned about how it might grab a strand of noodles and then decide to flutter over my head accompanied with dripping gravy. I was imagining everything the bird could do at its worst. So it left the bowl after dipping its beak in for some hot Szechuan soup, puffed up its feathers and perhaps decided it was rather hot. So it glided over to the bin, and OMFGWTF (vulgarities intended), it decided to COME BACK! Grrr, Why can’t I eat in peace?

Hops hops hops, it took several beak-thrusting effort before it decided to leave. And stupid Myna decided to leave a little poop on the chairs. The chairs are as green as its poop. Someone might just unknowingly stain the back of his shirt with poop!!!

[About Loud Music...]

Are people seriously deaf? There I was trying to get a good snooze for about at least half an hour’s train ride, and people blast their music out of their earphones. I can hear them from a mile away. Even with good music, this kinda inconsiderate behaviour cannot be tolerated. Some people just wanna enjoy peace and silence. This isn’t the first time I have had people blasting their music beside me. I always try to pick seats beside considerate looking people, but they end up leaving early, and they get replaced with inconsiderate brats. Is it just me? Am I being easily irritable as Grannys do?

[About Germs... ]

Why do people have to cough in their hands, and then spread their germs on the hand rails of trains and busses? WHY? This is why, I never want to hold on. I would rather fall flat on my nose. Thank goodness I always try to maintain a skateboard-style balance on any moving vehicle, so I never get tactile contact with germs. And why is it that old hairy moustached men like to scratch when they seat beside me? Just yesterday, this man that reeks of sweat sat himself beside me and started scratch all over his arms, from inside his collar (probably he had an itch up his armpits… eww?) up to his face. Grossed me out. I stole glances at him and when he turned his head back at me. I chickened out. I wanted to yell in his face “STOP SCRATCHING!” Thank goodness he left pretty early. Freaky Scratchy Man. All public transport should install free hand desanitizers for people to rid themselves off germs. People who like to cough into their hands should refrain from touching the handrails. In many cases, I would like to offer my tissue to anyone in need. IF only I wasn’t sucha chicken.

[My Ideal Train...]

All trains should have divided sections. Just like airplanes. First class, business class and economy class rides. I would definitely pay more to get decent seats away from scratchy, noisy people. How about the trains be divided into the following sections:

  1. For people who would like to blast their damn loud music, oh make the cabin sound proof too!
  2. For Sweaty people whose shirts are soaked in sweat, so that they can stain the seats with their sweats together.
  3. Quarantine those that cough. Split that up to…
    • major cough with phlegm
    • minor cough with phlegm
    • just phlegm
    • Sneezes
  4. Office dressed people/ School uniformed kids
  5. Maybe even a food section?
  6. Aunties with multiple bags who need room space for their bulky items
  7. Parents with prams and push carts. Perhaps they can trade milk bottles and give diaper changing tips
  8. Parents with toddlers who cannot sit still.
  9. People who wants to sleep.
  10. People who wants to read.

With that we can customize the various train sections, like cabins, and have proper “furnishing”. E.g. a table for people who wants to do homework, or a storage compartment for people with many bulky shopping bags.
